About CloudSolar

CloudSolar was founded in March 2010 based on a revolutionary fluid binder technology that allows novel and stable fluid stabilization of particles. Using this technology, in one example, the heat capacity of a tank could be roughly doubled over a 25 degC temperature range. In another example, the design for a solar heat collector was improved to 90% baseline efficiency, which is higher than any panel measured by the SRCC. In addition, this panel provided up to 400% better collection efficiency in cloudy conditions versus industry-standard black polypropylene collectors, giving us our name.  We are now developing fluids that have favorable heat transfer characteristics.  The technology is patent pending.
